Mama Noy’s Lo Mein

Sweet, buttery shrimp make this lo mein dangerously delicious. Possible side dishes include sauteed veggies, pork buns, or more shrimp!

Main Ingredients:

  • Egg noodles

  • Fresh garlic

  • Fresh white onion

  • Sesame oil

  • Oyster sauce

  • Hoisin sauce

  • Soy sauce

  • Garlic powder

  • Shrimp (can substitute with chicken or omit protein)

  • Lemon juice

  • Table salt

  • Watercress

Let’s get Cookin’

Step 1: Soak egg noodles in hot water in one pot and then drain. 

Step 2:  In a second pot, bring salted water to boil. Once water is boiling, add the shrimp and boil until they’re pink (about 2 min), then drain.

Step 3: Fry fresh garlic and onions in oil of choice (can use olive, avocado, or sesame oil)

Step 3: Add noodles, oyster sauce, hoisin, soy sauce, garlic powder, shrimp to the pan with garlic and onions.

Step 4: Plate the mixture and add watercress* and top with our signature hot chili garlic oil 

*Or you can mix in the watercress with the stir fry for extra crunch
